I was born on the 8 of august 1991
I have lived in corozal my entire life
I have two brothers and four sisters.
I am the middle child in my family or at least i was until a year ago when my parents adopted a newborn baby from Belize city.
Almost a year ago my parents split up so my father has moved to the city and i haven't seen or spoken to him since( not that i want to!)
I don't miss him at all.
I graduated from corozal community college when i was 17 years old and have completed a year and a half of junior college majoring in biology.
One thing that i am very proud of is the fact that i graduated from primary school with the highest PSE score (Primary school examinations.) and up to today i still have the highest score for PSE at the school that i attended. I also did quite well on the CXC examinations ( Caribbean examination Council) with grade one in math( basic),English A, Social studies and human and social biology; grade two in English B, Principles of business, General biology and a grade three in Spanish.
One of the saddest and most traumatic moments of my life was when a guy who was my friend died in our last year of high school. it was the first time in my life someone who i had known died, and so naturally i had sort of a hard time accepting it. As if that wasn't enough a month after that my grandfather died.
One of the happiest moments of my life so far was probably the day that i realized that i love someone for the first time. I am not an emotional person and i find it hard to become attached to people and actually feel intense and serious emotions but this time i did and i was sure of it. By now you probably think that i fell in love with some guy right?. Wrong! I have never been in love with a guy. I was speaking about my little brother that we had adopted. I usually am indifferent to my sibling, there is just too much of them and they are annoying but this one i actually love.
I believe that the person who has influence my life the most has been my mother because i see how she tries to do the right thing and how the decisions that she made when she was young are coming back to haunt her now. I don't ever want to be in her position and she always gives us advice to never do the same things that she did.
Other people who have influenced my life are Pastor Max Rudd and his church in Oklahoma who have been very Kind to me and my family and have always been there to support us with Love and affection.

ReplyDeleteFor the final version, I'd like you to discuss more about why you don't miss your father at all or have not seen him. I think this might be important to who you were/are. You could also explain what some of those negative decisions are that your mother made that you hope not to repeat. Thanks for sharing.
